@lights_rage @wesderby Sprint is at 2.2 now, which works for the most part, except when EF randomly shuts down and you have to restart it.
@lights_rage @wesderby No their GPS app sucks. Their browser works though while the standard one doesn’t, as well as email and calendar.
@wesderby @lights_rage That’s what I did. I found some things worked better, others didn’t.
@wesderby @lights_rage Agreed. More than one way to skin a cat.
@dgl1984 @stick_bear All of this is Google though so there’s no 3rd party involved.
@dgl1984 @stick_bear You can’t really do that, because the Market App needs that info in order to get apps.
@stick_bear Spouting when you don’t have all the info makes you look stupid. You should keep that in mind.
@stick_bear Looks like you need to do some more research.
@stick_bear Newsflash: You have to provide your Google info *when you set up the phone initially. Not when you purchase MA.
@wesderby Yeah I’m kind of hoping Verizon doesn’t buy them out.
@lights_rage @wesderby Which companhy are you with, and what version of Droid are you running?
@lights_rage And 2.2 is iffy.
@lights_rage I’m not saying the free might not work. But if you have anything 3.0 and above, it doesn’t. Been there, tried that.
@lights_rage @wesderby i’d be willing to do that if I had another phone to play with. Won’t do testing on my main anything.
@lights_rage @wesderby In order to do that you have to root the phone, which invalidates the warranty. Fine if you’re willing to do that.
@stick_bear @wesderby So do you have an iPhone at this point?
@wesderby Been with them since 2003.
@wesderby Really? Benefits? What kind?
@stick_bear And I hate to break it to you, but *all screenreaders present security holes. It’s the way they’re built.
@ I’m not disagreeing with you. I’m just saying there are somethings that actually work a little better.
