So on top of the stuff with Tucows, I'm not in risk management hell with Namecheap because problems like this cascade and apparently switching the email associated with an account, even after verifying everything, takes an act of Congress. Su guess who will definitely be losing my business. Anyway, I think I'm stealing "Get porked", which is extra funny.

Yeah that's the part I'm having trouble with the current registrar about. I'm trying to renew the domain and I'm still in the grace period after expiration.

Yeah but don't you have to wait until the grace and then redemption periods are over before you can transfer? It's been a long time since I've had to get into the weeds of domain registration and transferrence lol.

@TRodick93 Took a look at the Porkbun site. Very nice. Still haven't heard back from Tucows reseller so if I have to take the nuclear option I'll definitely be using Porkbun. I'll likely use it even if I get access to the domain again after this, and the likelihood increases by the hour.

@TRodick93 I will keep this in mind and start switching things once I figure out how this current situation's going to shake out.
