On 8–9th January, in about eight hours, the Iranian regime and the IRGC slaughtered over 100,000 unarmed protesters.

This is true, but it omits that it was what the international community wanted as well. Everyone knew that removing Hamas would involve a brutal war. And we've seen that is, in fact, the case. So "managing" the conflict and "buying quiet" became the consensus.

It's also worth noting that El Sayed's hostility to Jews goes well beyond him downplaying a terrorist trying to murder Jewish children. He has claimed bad polls are AIPAC. He has claimed everyone who disagrees with him only does so for AIPAC money. Nothing has changed.
