If you are routinely calling your political opponents pedophiles and fascists and communists and Marxists and so on and so forth, you probably do not actually believe that harsh words are counterproductive. https://t.co/HP4XzKkUgx

1) I’ve spent a lot of time in Pennsylvania and those folks sound nothing like anyone I’ve ever met in Pennsylvania

Or, as other people have observed, the "F-your-feelings" crowd have suddenly discovered they have feelings. Well, welcome to the club.

"No President has ever been so insulting and divisive as Biden" say a great many people who positively reveled in Trump's daily routine of insults and divisiveness. No President should be insulting or divisive, but it's hard to take these reactions seriously.

Democrats & the WH, for the love of everything politically Holy, do NOT equivocate on Biden’s pro democracy speech.

Double, triple down on his hard truths about the threats MAGA presents to our republic.

Make the GOP defend their Trumpist illiberalism.
Offense wins elections.

Cloudflare's position on KF is not tenable and I believe that their leadership, employees, shareholders and the rest of the world would be better off if they proactively recognized that.https://t.co/g3fmWKaCnT

That doesn’t mean your condemnation is political or unfair, improper, out of bounds, or anything of the sort. And yet people who know better are pretending to get hung up on Biden condemning Trump and MAGA by name, ignoring entirely the reason for the condemnation.

I don’t understand what is confusing about this. The head of the Republican Party doesn’t believe in free, fair elections and encourages his supporters to believe as he does. Condemning that necessarily means condemning him and his supporters who believe as he does.

Can you get more disingenuous than this guy?

We moved on in 2000 *because* people accepted an outcome they disagreed with. Democrats didn't attack the Capitol in 2001. Al Gore didn't demand an immediate new election in 2002.

That's the whole point, Jilani. You see that, right? https://t.co/hsIX9913Kq

Whataboutism is one thing, but it's a bit much hearing the wounded wails today from the same people who never had a problem with Trump lobbing at Democrats whatever nasty insult he could Mad Lib together from his third grade vocabulary.

1/2: In 2020, Trump called Democrats "fascists" in '20 while surrounded by military officials.

No one remembers it bc Dems didn't feel threatened by his false claim.

Today, MAGA Republicans are angry at President Biden for a similar remark. Because they know it's true. pic.twitter.com/ran6LASOys

"Which part" of Biden's criticisms of MAGA Republicans "do Republicans deny?," asks @ThePlumLineGS.
I've seen taking offense, claiming to be insulted, mocking the background, calling it not unifying. But no substantive rebuttal nor principled defenses of Constitutional democracy. https://t.co/5MRJjtU8NS

This is a flat out lie by Ben. Biden went out of his way to explain who he was referring to, took great pains to say it wasn't even most Republicans. Jan. 6 happened, and many of those folks are still actively trying to dismantle this democracy is they don't get their way. https://t.co/eE1k0XFGbN
