Apart from any religious considerations, they took the territory as part of a defensive war, they've tried to offer it several times to the Palestinians only to have it rejected, and what was essentially the demo project for a Palestinian state has culminated in October 7 and the Palestinian Authority is inviting Hamas into the government. So much for revitalization, which is supposed to be the thing that the west is offering in exchange for Israel agreeing to a Palestinian state before Hamas is eliminated from the Gaza strip and all hostages are returned unconditionally.

@seedy I think they should clean up the error, but there's not a specific http code for when a site has been geoblocked so serving a friendly message is more difficult than it should be. Also geoblocking is a quick but very much not fit-for-purpose way to deal with cumbersome and/or poorly thought-through privacy regulation exchanges.
