@SteveSawczyn OK. Would it be possible for you to temporarily switch from Nod32 to Windows Defender to find out if you're asked to reverify? Honestly I want to blame Nod32 because it gets really finicky about a lot of things and sometimes absolutely ruins keypairs for other things, but we should probably try to eliminate first.

@SteveSawczyn So the reason you have to verify is so that you can get a public-private key pair for your device, in this case, your PC. I wonder what's killing the keys? Do you have antivirus software other than Windows Defender, or something like Deep Freeze running? Or just standard Windows 11?

@SteveSawczyn Did your PC do anything like rollback or restore from last known good config when booting after that two-day break? And are you having to repeatedly authorize or is this the only time you've had to do this again?

@SteveSawczyn It should only be asking you to verify once, upon account add. Did you do the thing where you open Whatsapp on your phone and type in the code to verify, or did you use the QR code?
