@jamminjerry The file you were sent is probably not an official file.
@jamminjerry You want to change that, fine, but we’re not going to support it.
@jamminjerry Maybe but that’s not usually the way it works. The assumption is: we provide a router already configured.TBC
@jamminjerry Yeah those sorts of things are usually use at your own risk. Make sure you back up your configurations before overwriting.
@jamminjerry I’ve never heard of it either, but then, I don’t have encyclopedic knowledge of consumer modems.
@jamminjerry So look around the control panel and find out where the bridge mode configs are and set it yourself.
@jamminjerry Honestly I think you’d be better off just using the modem.
@technolass But didn’t anyone tell you? You’re on the phone, therefore, it’s your fault. </sarc>
@jamminjerry Well then, you need to figure out how to set it to bridge mode. Either way, bridge mode is what you need.
@jamminjerry And what’s wrong with figuring out a new router. All consumer routers are pretty much the same and not hard to configure.
@jamminjerry What do you mean refresh things every 15 seconds?
@typhooncindy @jamminjerry He or you need to call the DSL people and have them come out and set the modem to bridge mode.
@jamminjerry You need to have the modem set to bridge mode in order for your router to work.
@jamminjerry Why are you using two routers?
@reevesman So when do we get to start educating you. We all know how stupid you are.
@mf723 She was found not guilty.
@ppatel @braillereader @DHSHolly @chuck_brady1976 I think it’s because everybody has to luck out occasionally.
@wesderby @stick_bear Yeah that might be a good idea. Keep the DB app running.
@deblewis53 I tried that. You can’t even move around the screen.
@Liamerven @graceek Yeah that one does kind of make you want to quit the country. Or at least blind orgs.
