@nycki96 The Oslow Accords are kind of messed up though, because they imposed the Palestinian Authority over the clan structure that defines Palestinian society, which then proceeded to become a cleptocracy and start indoctrinating Palestinian kids and supporting terrorism. This created the conditions for Hamas to take over the Gaza strip in 2007, because a plurality of Palestinians figured in 2006 that why should they vote for the PA which is corrupt and makes lots of promises it will never keep when we can vote for Hamas which we think will keep its promises and give us our dignity. It didn't work out that way because Hamas then took over the government, threw its political opponents off roofs and the like, and then proceeded to build all of Gaza into a battlefield for its promised destruction of Israel. @nycki96 The Oslow Accords failed because Arafat rejected the final offer, including the Clinton parameters, and then proceeded to launch the Second Intifada. This intifada included the systematic murder of Palestinian peace advocates, except for the ones who made it to the West. The division of the West Bank into Area A, under complete Palestinian control, Area B, under Palestinian civil control and Israeli security control, and Area C, under complete Israeli control, still holds, and settlement construction mostly takes place in Area C. There are some hooligans who try to construct settlements outside Area C which are illegal according to Israeli law, and those homes are destroyed by the IDF.

Including doing absolutely nothing but screaming at Israel after October 7. No insistance that Hamas quit the strip, let alone anything to enforce that demand, no attempts to get the Red Cross to visit the hostages, let alone get them out, nothing but a collective shrug at Hamas's executions of its own people when they try to get aid they don't have to pay for, nothing but a collective shrug at Hamas' macabre hostage release spectacles.

What's not fair, Lynn, is chunks of those Gazans you care so much about betraying the Israeli kibutzniks who hired them to work on their kibutzim, transported them to hospitals when they needed care, and participated in peace summits with them, one of which was days before October 7, by handing over maps and the names of people to Hamas to be killed or taken hostage. What's not fair is zero Gazans providing any information on the location of hostages to the Israelis, or even showing kindness to any of those hostages, several of which have testified to being kept in the homes of Gazan families. That's what's not fair.

And I'm pretty sure you know exactly what the actual purpose is, and the fact that you apparently expect zero civilion deaths and essentially the leaving of Hamas intact puts the lie to all of your insistances that Israel has the right to defend itself and all that stuff about working towards peace and a two state solution.

You constantly slander Israel and by extension anyone who doesn't swallow the Palestinian narrative wholesale, only to then make pious noises about blame games and peace. It's fine for you to not have solutions, but the proper response to that is not to constantly run off at the mouth about how bad one party is only to then retreat to pious antiwar platitudes when you get called on it.

In response to multiple offers of 97% of the West Bank, it has gotten rejection and more terrorism. As far as aid and starving is concerned, Israel has facilitated 1,813,484 tons of food and other aid into Gaza since the start of the war, which Hamas then steals significant chunks of and then sells back to the population at exhorbitant rates, and you blame Israel for any and all suffering. You claim you don't support Israel's people being killed only to then scream bloody murder whenever Israel does anything to stop it. What do you think they should do, offer Hamas and Hezballah tea and pastries and ask politely to please stop the rockets and raids?
