@evilcookies98 Speaking as someone who really isn't a Bob Dillin fan, you should listen to whatever kind of music you want, whenever you want, and if people are judging you for it that's their problem not yours. Don't stop doing what you enjoy just because other people say you should.

@annmlipton (1), trans people are comparing themselves to trans people in the holocaust not to Jews, and (2), Matt Walsh can shut the fuck up and sit with the fact he's been deafeningly silent every single time one of his anti-vax pals compares themselves to the Jews on the regular and he can't seem to come up with an objection, let alone outrage.

@chris @Jeffro The only way the block editor causes little to no pain/friction is if the site is a simple one. And by simple I mean it's posts and maybe some pages with not a lot of fancy to them. Anything above that and you're going to encounter friction that the "convert to blocks" button isn't going to fix.

@chris @Jeffro I don't know I think switching themes has been a royal pain for about 8 years now. It's probably more disappointing though if you're using the block editor since you're essentially being told in not so many words that the block editor is supposed to eliminate at least some of the problems since presentation and content are no longer separate.

@atomicpoet @fediversenews I think we should adopt something that identifies those on Mastodon as part of the fediverse as a whole, not necessarily something specific to Mastodon itself.

I screwed up the redirects on my end, so I effectively had them in twice, which, well, caused everything to loop back on itself.

I may change the identifier, but after this point, I have complete control over how things look and what gets published, (favorites, replies and boosts show up correctly while I can still publish my reads and other non-fediverse stuff without it going to the fediverse as just a link).

Thanks for letting me know about the problem, because I then had to sit down and figure out what was going on and I caught the mistake.
