@glaroc I don't necessarily want billionaires dead. But based on everything I've read about the sub situation, it seems to be a play stupid games win stupid prizes situation, and yeah, the fact that this one sub of billionaires on it got way more coverage than any of the boats of migrants fleeing because they pretty much had to in favor of some billionaires cutting corners because they could leaves a real bad taste in my mouth.

@bruce_toews Yes that's the idea. I'd say also that you have a responsibility to do so, but also that this isn't something you're going to do all at once. It takes actual work, and sometimes that work involves internalizing things you don't want to hear. Just basing on my own personal experience.

@bruce_toews No. The best you can do is to be aware of what prejudices exist, and prevent those from effecting your actions, especially in cases where what you do and what you say can harm other people.

@bubbline If I find myself in a situation where I need to use the word cisgender, and someone says they find it offensive, I'm just going to tell them that I'm just ensuring they have the least woke experience as possible since making linguistic changes in order to avoid harming people has been considered woke by the anti-woke for something like 40 years or so. See also: politically correct.
