Because being there for the ups and the downs is what real fans do.

@aardrian @jscholes Oh man I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to revisit any of the Gutenberg accessibility shenanigans and add them to this. Probably not, but man this has gotten insane.

@celesteh This is not the case. The prohibition on wearing leather shoes only applies to Yom Kippur and Tishah B'av. Wearing other leather such as belts or jackets or kippot is fine on these days, to say nothing of the rest of the Ten Days.

Also, yes to this statement about accessibility and privacy. I'm just sorry it's all out in the open and mask off now.

OK I just looked at the login form. Does that box indicate something as overbroad as that looks? (I.E., if you're a WPE customer, you are technically affiliated financially with WPE)? Because if that's the case I'm never logging into WPOrg again. We have a bunch of clients hosted at WPE we cannot just switch because Matt got religion or something and now hates WPE.

@cublanco Mazal tov you two!

I don't know if he's updating them.

They're at dlee.org.

Windows is doable, but you'll want to get Doug Lee's Slack scripts and make sure you have a decent amount of ram. The number of notifications you get depends on how busy your workspace is. If you're in multiple workspaces they can become a problem.

Tell us you're using dictation without telling us you're using dictation. lol!

Ug I hope everything else works out for you and that you're able to get your glasses back.

Yeah OK that's a unique case. But it mostly comes down to "for good accessibility use semantic HTML" and also "For good SEO use semantic HTML", so it's kind of a correlation versus causation thing at this point. 2006 was a different time though and ug 1997 pages based on layout tables.

Yeah technically that whole "accessibility improves SEO" thing isnt true except in some pretty narrow circumstances, but I have absolutely used it to get more accessibility sneaked into a site when it's not part of the explicit goals of the client. I much prefer clients who consider accessibility as part and parcel of the project though because when we get a remediation project it's almost always because the client got themselves into trouble which is the worst possible scenario to be doing any of this under.
