Nothing wrong with Trump using Mastodon to power his social network. If I were him, that’s what I’d do because building a social network is hard. What’s not OK though is claiming that open source code is proprietary, (it’s not), and not complying with the license by failing to release the code. That’s black-and-white code theft, and I fucking hate code thieves. I hope someone in the open source world assists the founder of Mastodon with suing the living shit out ofTrump’s media and technology group, because fuck code thieves.
