You have to admit, regardless of your political beliefs, that a guy going to federal prison for years because when he himself was president he signed an order to increase the minimum sentence for the exact crime he committed is hands down the funniest shit that could ever happen and we are nanometers away from that once-in-a-lifetime hysterical occurrence from taking place. You have to want this to happen if you have any appreciation for comedy.

One thing that strikes me about the Trump documents case is that it's almost entirely a sequence of unforced errors that yielded almost no obvious benefit to him. It's just narcissistic recklessness, lies, doubling down, obstruction, conspiracy, rinse and repeat. He could have simply returned the documents he knew about and cooperated in the recovery of the others. But he can't help himself.
