Itu2019s because we see too many people who excused and even celebrated our death gain power, backed by mainstream institutions. nnAre they going to put us on trains? Hell no. Are they fueling violent hatred and spreading populist lies about us? Yes, and history shows that never works out well for ANYONE. nnThe good news is, Jews wake up this morning and continue to be Jews.nnMost of us donu2019t have the luxury to u201crethinku201d our identity when itu2019s unpopular, or ride the tides of antisemitism when it suits us (looking at you, Lander). A few will, hell, maybe many. But there has never EVER been a politician or leader in history who has changed who we are as a people – and G-d knows many have tried.
