@SteveSawczyn OK. Would it be possible for you to temporarily switch from Nod32 to Windows Defender to find out if you're asked to reverify? Honestly I want to blame Nod32 because it gets really finicky about a lot of things and sometimes absolutely ruins keypairs for other things, but we should probably try to eliminate first.
@acarson @SteveSawczyn I can turn nod off, then will try to verify again. We’ll see how it holds up
@acarson @SteveSawczyn I went to Nod when Windows Defender would kill games like Crazy Party even when filtered out. Nod didn’t do that at all, but you’re right, it can be aggressive sometimes
@acarson @SteveSawczyn BTW I think it’s epic someone else in my contacts knows about DeepFreeze. I find it very useful sometimes for some things
@startrek2025 @SteveSawczyn I used to have to deal with it at work. It used to kill my Jaws settings every time.
@acarson @SteveSawczyn There’s a companion program they could have used that’s free that could have put those settings in a thaugh space, so there’s no excuse for that happening to you
@startrek2025 @SteveSawczyn It didn’t exist 20 years ago.
@startrek2025 @SteveSawczyn Oh God I just said that out loud, I feel so old now.
