@stirlock We didn't have Spotify and stuff, but that was the beginning of the CARP era, and that legislation more than anything else killed most internet radio, especially for hobbyists. Part of the reason why the hobbyist stations still chug along is because there aren't anough of them to get on anyone's radar. If they get big or there are a lot of them, stinks will start to be made about licensing.
