@8124 @Properganda If you know that something's a propaganda outlet, and you're still licensing your content to them, then you're culpable. We live in a world where information is constantly weaponized and traditional media organizations are going to have to adapt to the new reality. They're not doing that.

There’s a reason why I chose “food” as an analogy above 🙂

Food vendor’s business is to sell food, not punish alleged criminals.

It is Israel’s right to ban Al Jazeera if they’ve determined that AJ promotes propaganda detrimental to Israel’s security.

It is not AssociatedPress’ responsibility to discriminate between 1000s of its licensees

US should’ve banned Fox News LONG ago as a malicious foreign propaganda outlet.

It can and still do this on military bases, which are exempt from civilian laws including First Amendment challenges. There is NO REASON to allow hostile propaganda on our military bases. It is a dire national security risk, considering the likes of Mike Flynn and Jan6 insurrection

  3. @acarson @rameshgupta @Properganda If i’m going to steel-man the case for Fox News, just look at the trajectory of Tucker Carlson. He went from semi-tethered to reality, to regurgitating North Korean style propaganda about grocery stores, interviewing Putin without sticking up for his “colleagues” in his supposed profession, etc.

Also, Bret Baier is the one righteous show left on the network after Chris Wallace left. If Bret leaves too then i am fresh out of good things to say about them.
