@wiljames @treehousedarren As far as revoking lifetime licenses is concerned, they can be revoked at any time assuming the terms of purchase document stated that they could be, and I highly doubt this was left out of the original purchase contract. As far as software being bricked locally once subscriptions are in play, everything Corel (Word Perfect, Groupwise, ETC), plus everything they bought started being bricked locally in 2001. Office from Microsoft has done this since 2010, and they totally brick your local install. Also, safety software: (antivirus, malware cleaners, registry cleaners). As far as lifetime licenses for software in general are concerned, they can be revoked at any point as long as users are given notice. Which VoiceDream has been doing for at least the last year.
