@e_urq It may have happened, and even if it didn't, Republicans are going to spend at least five minutes pretending to care very deeply about prison rape because it serves their interests.

Never mind that hundreds of trans people are probably in jail, they will harp about the one supposed bad apple for months – and not say a peep about all the prison guards who rape and molest women inmates.
