So I'll just start with some basics. Your roommate shouldn't be trading unless he can afford to lose what he's put into the pot. Other than that basic, if he's using Fiat Visions to try to get rich quick with crypto or anything else, then yeah it's a scam. Finally, you likely cannot save him, he has to do that himself.
