The sudden collapse of Silicon Valley Bank is sending absolute shockwaves through the tech industry. Nobody is really buying into the narrative that “The risk of contagion is low” – the bottom line is, we don’t know. The last 8 years in tech have been really strange, driven by wild monetary policy driving reckless investment decisions even from VC’s whom I considered to be fairly conservative.
