@nycki96 The Oslow Accords failed because Arafat rejected the final offer, including the Clinton parameters, and then proceeded to launch the Second Intifada. This intifada included the systematic murder of Palestinian peace advocates, except for the ones who made it to the West. The division of the West Bank into Area A, under complete Palestinian control, Area B, under Palestinian civil control and Israeli security control, and Area C, under complete Israeli control, still holds, and settlement construction mostly takes place in Area C. There are some hooligans who try to construct settlements outside Area C which are illegal according to Israeli law, and those homes are destroyed by the IDF.
