@lynnskyi Personally I use the reading challenge to track stats so I can get them at the end of the year. Goodreads will not give you your stats at end of year unless you do the challenge, so I usually set it for some low number which I will inevitably meet so I can then look at pages read and books read and things like that.

  1. @acarson @Doug73 Yes, you’re right. I will miss not seeing the number of pages read, but that isn’t as important as tracking what I’ve read each year. Creating a separate bookshelf for this year’s reading will at least allow me to know which books I’ve read this year, and give me a number, as I add titles to that bookshelf. I know some people use a spreadsheet program to do this, but I know i don’t want to do that. 🤷
