Yeah that was 1997. Also he's riffing on old spy villains. But yes any swearing was limited to post 10PM TV in the US, to the extent it occured.

But the Austin Powers movies were hilarious, and if you watch the second one with the audio description, the audio description itself in parts is also hilarious.
