@bermudianbrit There’s not a bit of context that makes any of the violence going on in Amsterdam acceptable. I’d like to say I can’t believe I have to say this, but honestly the fediverse and the left have spent the last year demonstrating again and again that anything is entirely fine as long as the target is those Jews we don’t like so the only bit that’s shocking at this point is who it’s going to come from next.
@acarson@bermudianbrit I don’t think anyone is actually justifying violence here, and you insinuating they are just means that you are probably justifying the reverse in your head, so ask yourself if that’s fair.
What Matthew specifically said when posting this, was that Israel is constantly being pardoned for acts like this. The big, left news broadcasters are consistently showing sympathy to Israel when the world wrongs its people, but there is no pressure to stop a literal genocide.
