Do we need to fire Thursday again?

@SteveThompson I'm referring to the reaction of the attendees to the Goldbert-Polin appearance last night at the DNC.

@Properganda I think this, coupled with the reception of the Polins, is a good start. But I also don't blame anyone who doesn't trust the democratic party after the last 8 months, even if at the same time they realize that Trump would be worse in a lot of ways. Democratic leadership, including Harris, has up until this point treated pro-Hamas protesters with kid gloves by sending them mixed signals. That's something that never should have happened, along with and separately from the constant telegraphing to Hamas itself. That can't be fixed in a couple days.

@Properganda I haven't watched the speech yet, and I'm not saying you're wrong either. I'm just saying that it's entirely understandable that some people are wary of the democrats, including Harris. That can change, provided she sticks to the new script. But I don't think it's unfair for anyone to take a wait-and-see approach either.

@SteveThompson @Properganda Which one? The domestic one? Because in my view neither party has been doing a good job on that score, although I'm hoping the democrats will improve because I don't see the Republicans doing it any time soon.

@SteveThompson @Properganda I'm not voting for Trump. Just because I'm not voting for Trump doesn't mean Harris and other democratic politicians get to be free from critique.
