@Properganda I haven't watched the speech yet, and I'm not saying you're wrong either. I'm just saying that it's entirely understandable that some people are wary of the democrats, including Harris. That can change, provided she sticks to the new script. But I don't think it's unfair for anyone to take a wait-and-see approach either.
@Snowshadow @SteveThompson @Properganda Which one? The domestic one? Because in my view neither party has been doing a good job on that score, although I’m hoping the democrats will improve because I don’t see the Republicans doing it any time soon.
@acarson @Properganda Of course. Politicians break their campaign promises when convenient. But she has skirted the issue after initially alarming us with her Netanyahu trip comments. She soundly lays out where she stands towards the end of the speech and it’s brilliamt in a way that leaves little room to fault her even for one bent on that mission.
@Snowshadow @SteveThompson @Properganda I’m not voting for Trump. Just because I’m not voting for Trump doesn’t mean Harris and other democratic politicians get to be free from critique.
@SteveThompson @Properganda I truly hope this is the case.
@Snowshadow @SteveThompson @Properganda I said never Trump in 2016, and I meant it.
@acarson @Snowshadow @Properganda
It’s an amazing acceptance speech.
@SteveThompson @Snowshadow @Properganda Yeah I plan to watch it.
