@acarson I agree. It’s remarkable that Israel *is* so relentlessly self-critical given these conditions. But I think Israelis prefer criticism to come from inside the tent. And frankly, as a gent(ile), I don’t blame them.
@acarson tbf, as my best friend Nathaniel often tells me, ‘Put three Jews in a room to argue and they’ll leave with four opinions’ so maybe there’s an inbuilt guard against that! 😆
