@devinprater @eric They're getting better at describing images. The problem is that when they don't have actual info they'll just provide what sounds like good info in a confident manner, and there's no way for the user to verify that it's correct. They still do not have the context that good image description requires.

@devinprater @eric Sorry for the verbosity I'm trying to keep the language as precise as possible instead of using AI as a catch-all because none of this is strictly speaking artificial intelligence.

@devinprater @eric Yeah Apple's screen recognition for VoiceOver is pretty good and actually useful, and I agree with you regarding using LLMs for things like reading interfaces. But not all the other crap that it seems to be being lauded for.
