@arush @jeffjarvis ah, but they don’t really want to be on the web. They want to control the whole experience and have as little to do with the open web as possible. Third party clients, gone. Access to threads if you’re not logged in, gone.
They are the 2020s version of the sites who started opening every external link in a new window so you didn’t fully leave their site.
