We tend to talk about tech as a monolith, but within the industry there are clear class and power divides. My prediction is that much like other unionization pushes, it will start with the actual labor force that has been repeatedly exploited. The programmers, developers, and other folks who get screwed repeatedly by not having their contracts honored.
