The four freedoms, as expressed in the GPL, don't make exceptions for users who need to use assistive tech or need better color contrast or any other accommodation. *Every* user has those freedoms, and by neglecting accessibility users who need accessibility are being denied those freedoms. Saying "use what you need" is a cop-out, and a slap in the face.
