@andrearennick @chris This is the thing that's annoying me about the current debate, specifically the pro-Meta side. I get that on a per-instance level, some are going to federate while others not. But the pro-federation side seems to be completely ignoring that the communities pre-emptively blocking have absolutely valid concerns. Also that whole "Maybe we can convince people to leave Meta's federated thing and join real? federated things" take is +
