Those Glorious Heroes of the Right, Govs. Abbott and DeSantis, mock and exploit migrants for political theater. Perhaps some Respectable Conservatives could momentarily put aside their fear and trembling over wokeness in order to denounce real life indecency and inhumanity?

Since Texas and Florida no longer wish to handle their role as border states (whether by land or water), and instead wish to use migrants as political pawns, I guess we should stop spending billions of federal taxpayer dollars funding border fortifications in their states.

What conservatives wanted from the dehumanizing Martha's Vineyard stunt was to accuse liberals of hating migrants just as much as they do. It was all geared for the "liberals deport migrants" headlines. They were going to do it regardless of whether it was true, and they have.
