Watching how Americans have responded to COVID has to make any adversary think much more intently about how we would react to a debilitating cyber attack, or some other unconventional strike. There's a very good chance we'd tear ourselves apart.

Fake positivity doesn’t erase real negativity.

Telling somebody to “be positive” doesn’t make them any less sad, angry, numb, or pained. It just changes how honest they are with you about what they’re feeling.
