He’s been governor since 2015 and Attorney General until that point since 2003. So is he telling us that there’s a rape crime wave going on in Texas? Because I don’t remember Texas’ apparent problem with the crime of rape being discussed at all in any of the thinkpieces on how crime is skyrocketing and somebody needs to do something about it. i’m thinking hard on this, but I can’t seem to recall any of the folks who have been pontificating about crime in liberal enclaves, in or out of diners, breathing a word about this. Perhaps it’s that crime really isn’t the issue here, but i’ll keep holding out for an expose on thi—-Oh fuck me who are we kidding.

Gotta admit, this newfound concern on the part of Republicans over drone strikes that kill civilions is just so heartwarming. I mean, this shit has been going on for 20 years, up to and including a 300% increase during the Trump administration, and it was either shrug or "defend the military at all costs" until about 5 minutes ago. Progress or something, I guess.
