@wesderby There are a lot of things it works with, and you may be able to get by depending on which version of the firmware you get.
@stick_bear @wesderby It’s not quite that simple. Like I said, give me a call and I’ll explain.
@stick_bear @wesderby Example: With Spiel/EF, in the phone app, you hear four numbers when you dial, the rest get spoken as hyphen. With MA,
@stick_bear @wesderby all the numbers are spoken, and answering/rejecting calls actually works.
@Dishnut @Blair_42 LOL he’s got a point, Blair.
@Mexi77 @Simon818 Yes the only problem is, they probably have mothers who love them.
@wesderby Check your DMs.
@ I’m not disagreeing with you. I’m just saying there are somethings that actually work a little better.
@stick_bear And I hate to break it to you, but *all screenreaders present security holes. It’s the way they’re built.
@wesderby Really? Benefits? What kind?
@wesderby Been with them since 2003.
@stick_bear @wesderby So do you have an iPhone at this point?
@lights_rage @wesderby In order to do that you have to root the phone, which invalidates the warranty. Fine if you’re willing to do that.
@lights_rage @wesderby i’d be willing to do that if I had another phone to play with. Won’t do testing on my main anything.
@lights_rage I’m not saying the free might not work. But if you have anything 3.0 and above, it doesn’t. Been there, tried that.
@lights_rage And 2.2 is iffy.
@lights_rage @wesderby Which companhy are you with, and what version of Droid are you running?
@wesderby Yeah I’m kind of hoping Verizon doesn’t buy them out.
@stick_bear Newsflash: You have to provide your Google info *when you set up the phone initially. Not when you purchase MA.
@stick_bear Looks like you need to do some more research.
