I probably would have participated if I knew that it would result in my obtaining chocolate. God would not be so cruel as to punish me for obtaining tasty treats. If, on the otherhand, the point was simply to find hard boiled eggs, I would have sat out too. When passover comes, I always give my egg to someone else.
